They already put their whistles away for any team that plays against us. We are used to it.

They would probably call Chiarot for the tiniest infraction if he was on our team.

I know you dont like aggressive dmen all your posts absolutely gives the impression you dint want any but our defense is the softest in the league

No one on our team pays a price and finishes a check. We are super skilled
But no balls in the playoffs. We can add more offense all we want but it doesn’t mean anything in the playoffs if we dont add some toughness

They already moved 2022 though.

They have Denisenko, Tippett, Samoskevich, Noel, Heponiemi, a 2023 2nd, and a 2024 1st.

I think other teams can outbid them.

Florida paid through the nose for Chiarot. It's silly season.

Do they still have the ammo for Giroux without that 1st rounder in play?

Yes they have tippett and other young prospects that can get that done and other picks

I am not a fan of bad defensemen, and I am certainly not overpaying because of it. Chiarot is a bad defenseman, and we are not a team that gets away with the crap that he got away with in Montreal.

Perfectly fine with Muzzin and even Lyubushkin in the right role. Not a fan of adding overhyped, overpriced defensemen like Chiarot because of toughness.

Funny I think the opposite. A Chariot like defenceman even if he's bad, someone would overpay because of his style. I think we can get another d man for a reasonable price.

That's solid deal for both the Flames and Kraken. I would have paid that if we needed a forward.

Its going to be interesting to revisit this post if we get the opportunity to play Florida in the playoffs and chariot manhandles matthews again

If the league wasn't so conservative/scared to make moves for most of the season, GMs could collectively avoid this tdl overpay mess every year.

Learn to make trades in November-January. But that would require them to actually do their jobs....
