I want the guy that goes under the radar and then performs like a star, similar to Bennett last year. I see that with Domi if he came to Toronto. I personally think he's a big upgrade on Kerfoot in the top 6.

watching these guys piss away this game to Montreal, I can't help but hope something more major is in order. Our defensive play has been atrocious recently. No intensity. Not sure a trade can even get that, but I suppose it could help.

I'm not sure about that. Go on the CBJ board and no complaints about the guys attitude at all, they don't want him gone. Also his 2.46 pp60 would put him right between Marner and Tavares and well ahead of Willie, Kase and the rest of the Leafs. But he is not a center any more and while he will fight, he isn't a big hitter so another guy that makes them better but doesn't seem to fill a hole.
He'd add depth and scoring on LW, which is a need for this team IMO. Pushes Kerf down to 3C

Muzzins been out with a concussion and has come back but hasn't looked good and just smacked his head on the on the ice and hasn't been back since.

Theres interest for bad mrazek and he won’t budge
Has a 1st that’s going to be a low pick probably unless this is the start of a tank
And he prefers to do cheap little moves that gets us anywhere
I’m super on the fence with this one, I like a lot of stuff Dubas has done but some stuff I don’t. Hard call. If muzzin is gone though regardless of who’s gm we need a new top 4.

-Chychrun may be available, but no deal has been made by any team, so every other GM is just as behind at this point as Dubas is
-Where'd you hear Dubas won't budge on Mrazek? He moved on from Ritchie when it didn't click, and let guys like Lehtonen, Barabanov, Semyonov go. No reason to think he won't take a serious offer on Mrazek if it makes sense.
-And doing cheap little depth moves doesn't mean we still can't do bigger moves. In fact, if Brooks and Dzingel weren't claimed, and adding an extra D and G to the depth charts gives a little more wiggle room to make a bigger move
We got a few more weeks before the trade deadline, and a couple of long months to see how the playoffs shakeout. Lots can happen
Both Campbell and Mrazek have question marks surrounding them. With Mrazek, at least we know he came in to platoon but I've been unimpressed so far as you can see a goaltender who relies on his athletic ability more so than just being a fundamentally sound goaltender. Campbell has been great in spurts but he still hasn't earned my trust to make him our number 1.
For any type of playoff success, you'll have to hope this team peaks at the right time and either one of Campbell and Mrazek get really hot. I don't really see it which is why I think we need to concentrate our efforts on getting a legitimate number 1 goaltender, this year or in the offseason.
