Would you trade Mrazek for Koskinen (pending UFA, retained to equal salary) 1 for 1?

Wouldn’t be surprised to see muzzin go on LTIR for the rest of the contract. Each successive concussion makes it easier for another one. I wouldn’t trade sandin lilly Niemela knies Robertson at all for anything.

KERFOOT holl dermott our next couple of firsts and our 2023 2nd if need be plus any other prospect not named above.

he’s on a real top end team that is going to have serious cap issues in a few seasons. Why would they move him?
In my opinion, he's a buy low option right now, more of a toolsy project than a complete player. The Wild are playing great 5v5 but their special teams are middle of the pack. Greenway's 5v5 stats aren't the best btw and I think that's the reason why his role on the team is that of a checking line forward with secondary PK and PP roles... but at the age of 25, with 3 more years at $3M per, is this a guy the Wild want to allot cap space to? A trade between the NHL's #1PP/#3PK and the NHL's #11PP/#23PK that includes him could work. FWIW, the tools I'm interested in are based on his NCAA production and size+skating combo.

Instead of going all-in with our newfound cap-space....I'd much rather try get 2-3 really good depth pieces to fill us out.

Pieces who play a robust style of game would be ideal. Goodrow/Coleman types that Tampa had during their cup run

IMO Robertson can go if there's a deal to improve the team now - he's nothing special. Kid can't stay on his feet or healthy. Every team has a or some prospects like him.

He falls down more than Kadri did in his first 2 pro seasons and he's got Lupul-esque health.

Wish the kid well but he ain't it.

K... and kadri is decent now ... no? Decent career?

Are you saying he's going to be a bonafide NHL superstar that will burn us?

Yup he'll be top 10 in no time....

f*** sakes

Let's see how he does in a 5 to 10 game opportunity Debbie f***ing downer.

Hypothetically if Eklund is right and we are actually interested in Ristolainen....I have to assume he can be had for cheap tbh. He's on like the 3rd tier of defenseman available and he hasn't had the greatest of years in Philly. Albeit, i don't know how much that has to do with just playing for a bad team. No one stands out in Philly

Would ya'll do Ristolainen for Holl 1 for 1?

Keeping the Arizona train alive...Johan Larrsson might be someone i can see Dubas having interest in. He's a solid utility player who's great on the faceoffs and has grit. Could be another David Kampf type of target

Steen and Stralman weren't bonafide NHL superstars but I'm pretty sure most of us wish we had held onto them instead of selling them for pennies on the dollar

Nope, I'd rather keep Holl and he's royally pissing me off this season

Ristolainen has tools but zero toolbox

No but even a top 6 forward could hurt us. Lets not evaluate a kid so early. He's only what 20?

Damn, that old
Time to get rid of him

Eklund? He has as much credibility as any one us... he throws $&#^ at walls and hopes it sticks. I have waited and waited for him to get one thing right since 2005 and he doesn't. Even someone guessing could've hit something in that time.

Kid lights up the O at an historic rate, injuries derail, and since he’s returned from his broken leg (not a terrible long term concern) his GM speaks to his improved skating and two of his goals display that shot that wows. If we move on him, it better be for someone damned good.

If this team can get 16-20 goal seasons out of Robertson and Anderson next year and then they add someone like J.T Miller the top 9 for next season and this playoffs would be ridiculous.

No, Ristolainen is terrible and more expensive than Holl.

Holl has at least been decent without Muzzin/not in a top 4 role this year.

Johnson isn’t a better option for the top 6 then what we have and he’s not big enough for the bottom 6. Basically he’s what we already have and we need more grit.

Yeah he's fallen back down to earth now after a really good start to the year. I'd rather replace from within than spend on him. Anderson and Steeves are both decent depth / replacement options (on top of Robertson).
