What does everyone think of Andrew copp and Logan Stanley from the Jets ? Both players are availible from the jets and the cost would be much lower then say a hertl or Forsberg.

and how does this affect what Toronto is willing to part with or what he will actually go for.

To the same degree all the talk in this forum will. None... but outside pieces of info, can add to that discussion that us fans will have.

In the end I don't think he even gets moved. He's still young and Vancouver is not far off with the talent they have.

Miller is 30 in a year and isn't re-signing in Canada. Canucks will get max value for him in a trade now.

Too bad Minny figured out how to fit Fiala into their lineup….

I think he could have been had when they were struggling to make the fit work…

Insider Trading: Could Canadiens’ rebuild include a UFA signing splash? - TSN.ca

Is Forsberg available?

Predators forward Filip Forsberg isn’t currently on the most recent version of TSN’s Trade Bait list, but are there starting to be rumblings about his availability?

Dreger: Well, look. He’s Nashville’s top scorer and the position of the Predators is they want to extend his time on long term to stay with the organization. However, the talks with Filip Forsberg and his agent, J.P. Barry, remain in the preliminary stage which is fuelling speculation with the trade deadline now less than one month away. But you do have to look at the numbers here, right? Matt Duchene is an $8 million cap hit. Ryan Johansen is an $8 million cap hit. For Filip Forsberg, who is 27 years of age, to stay with the Predators long term, his cap hit and his expected salary is going to have to be north of $8 million.

What about Giordano?

With the expansion Seattle Kraken last in the Pacific Division and Mark Giordano’s contract up at the end of the season, how likely is he to move before the deadline?

LeBrun: A player that now looks like he’s most definitely going to change addresses before the end of the season is Mark Giordano. We told you a couple weeks ago that there was going to be a conversation between Giordano, the Seattle Kraken’s captain, and general manager Ron Francis. That chat has occurred. And what the two have decided is that Seattle will explore the trade market for their veteran captain, see what’s out there, and most likely move him. And in general I’m told they hope to be aggressive with all their cap space in terms of making other moves.

New Jersey scouring the goaltender market?

Lots of teams out there are looking for goaltending help and the New Jersey Devils don’t seem to be any different.

LeBrun: You may remember that Jonathan Bernier went down with season-ending hip surgery in early January. And then Mackenzie Blackwood hit injured reserve in late January with a heel injury. And they don’t know if or when he will be back. So the Devils now are calling around the league with a pretty aggressive nature trying to find a goaltender for the rest of the season. Which of course might be of interest to the Edmonton Oilers, who are looking at goalie options.

This is softest forward group I have ever seen :laugh::laugh:

Is this fanbase's goal to get bullied in the playoffs every damn year? Like good god. You really think Kessel is the complimentary player our forward group is missing?

Tampa and Florida are licking their chops seeing that powderpuff lineup

Hutch to NJ, do it up.

IDK why the Leafs would move Hutch unless he wants to be moved or someone gives us a pick.

He doesn't have much NHL value, but we do have a number of injury prone goalies right now. It wouldn't be bad to have him as a guy who sticks on the Marlies.

I was just piggybacking on NJ looking for a goalie to end out the year.
Pick wouldn’t hurt.

Copp has been bad this season.

Stanley thinks a regular season win is a Stanley Cup, don't think he'd help us win a playoff round, plus a LD...we're full.

Habs are going to sign Kadri, aren't they?

i kinda hope they back the truck up for Kadri. I don’t believe for a second he’s found a new gear this season. He’s having a career year and will come back down to earth. Someone is gonna really overpay for him I think. especially considering he’ll likely do something really stupid and get suspended in the playoffs for them lol

also yes please on Giordano

I would absolute love to see them sign Kadri to a lucrative deal. And there's a lot of sense in their roster to shore up the centre position.

Losing Danault really hurt and Kadri-Suzuki-Dvorak would be intriguing for them. But they're buying high on Kadri.
