Sure, 2nd or 3rd or whatever. Nothing crazy like any of the top prospects or a 1st, but I’d do just about anything else.I'd be willing to add more than a 3rd for that swap.
Not with his games played streak. If Kessel was involved they would’ve sat him tonight too

Doesn't he have an Iron Man streak or is it broken now?If Kessel was involved they would’ve sat him tonight too
We need more scoring/offensive punch upfront, push Kampf down to anchor a 4th line shut down line with Engvall and one of simmer or spezz.Where would we even put Kessel? On the 4th line and 2PP? Are we seriously putting Nylander on his off-wing full time just to force feed him minutes that he may not be capable of handling anymore?
We'd also need to be on his 8 team NTC list, and I don't see that happening.
I'm officially reporting that the trade will not be completed until after the Yotes game is over so that Kessel doesn't mess up the streak.Doesn't he have an Iron Man streak or is it broken now?
Just checked, he's at 948 consecutive games, no way he's sitting out as trade bait.
Phil the Thrill has been an absolute playoff warrior throughout his career. Maybe some of that could rub off on our guys.Lybby doesn't really move the needle for me at all, and while I love Kessel, I just don't think another guy who can't play on the boards is what we need.
I think the issue is defense and from what I've seen recently, goaltending.
I want to trust Campbell but I just don't right now.
Love Phil, but he has no place on this team with Marner, Nylander, Kase and Mik all RWers. Then you even have Simmonds and Spezza as primary RWers now.Phil the Thrill has been an absolute playoff warrior throughout his career. Maybe some of that could rub off on our guys.
They need a guy who can carry the puck as well as score and create off the rush, while also being able to play the game at Tavares’ speed. Kessel can do all those things, Mikheyev can get in first on the forecheck and create havoc.Lybby doesn't really move the needle for me at all, and while I love Kessel, I just don't think another guy who can't play on the boards is what we need.

Willy can play anywhere LW or C, especially in a third line situation with favourable matchupsLove Phil, but he has no place on this team with Marner, Nylander, Kase and Mik all RWers. Then you even have Simmonds and Spezza as primary RWers now.
I haven't loved him on the left and making that second line even more rush focused won't help usWilly can play anywhere LW or C, especially in a third line situation with favourable matchups
Is Lybushkin even all that good or a signficant upgrade to what we have now on D? Is there no one better than we can get?
He’s better than dermott and a different but similar player to Holl. Brings some of what we lost with Bogo leaving. Not a top end difference maker, but I don’t see any of those available atm anywayIs Lybushkin even all that good or a signficant upgrade to what we have now on D? That's for sure. He was great with Pittsburgh in the playoffs, but I think we have some really glaring needs on D at the moment which makes him a luxury at this point.
