They never send a team to this tourney. Don't know why tho.

Canada does not send a team because their leagues (Midget AAA, Tier II leagues, Major Junior) do not take IIHF breaks. They keep playing.
US does as they have their U18 team together all year long.

About the U18 Tournament. Any updates on the roster? As it happens with the senior, there are always few changes before the tournament start.

Thanks, was hoping to see how they matched up against the top Americans like Farabee, Wahlstrom, M. Samuelsson, Wilde, and K'Andre Miller.

Typing out that list makes me realize you now feel Canada's pain. Quite a few players of Swedish descent on this edition of the USNTDP U-18's.
