Can't wait for All Star weekend next year to see what Nashville has in store for us. Nashville is probably one of if not the underrated market in the league.

Everyone should go visit the city and take in a game. Great people and fans, and a beautiful centrally-located venue.

And when the game is over, people spill right out onto the main drag:

I understand why. People (Hawks fans) were embarrassing themselves everywhere the weekend I went. Trash-talking and chest-thumping the night before and day-of the game. Then the Preds won the game so many Hawks fans resorted to chanting "Playoffs!!!".

I don't think all Hawks fans were like that by any means, but there were some really obnoxious a-holes out that weekend.

Hawks fans can buy tickets. They just have to pay more :P

One of my best live sports experiences was the playoffs in 2008. I was in the upper bowl, and it was rally towel night. During the third period the crowd did our (at the time) random standing ovation during a TV time out. I could feel the wind whipping around the arena from the rally towels. It gave me chills.

Everyone is welcome to come down here to catch a game and see how we do hockey in Nashville :yo:

(just mind the kids and try not to curse around them)

Even visiting Nashville this past summer, I saw more people in Preds gear than I did Titans gear. I'm sure that changes during football season, but it was pretty cool. And with the bars right there, it should really be a place every NHL fans visits once.

I like the idea of a raucous crowd but I'd shoot myself if I were trapped in a country-drenched town like Nashville. Man, does that music suck!

Next season I'm gonna make the trip down there for a ️Blues Preds game. I've really been looking forward to it (even if I do have to pay more)

I'm not a country music guy either, thankfully it's Music City and all types are here, Hard Rock Cafe is just a few blocks away. From the Black Keys, Kings of Leon, Paramore, to Kesha, a lot of non country artist have started right here.

It's the "face" of Nashville music, but there's far more than just that. Beyond just "big names" like Jack White and the Black Keys being based out of Nashville, there's a pretty great underground\garage scene, with bands like Jeff the Brotherhood and Diarrhea Planet.

Love the fact that hockey is thriving in Nashville. Too many people are ready to write off some of these newer markets, but the fact of the matter is, it takes a generation of kids growing up with an established franchise in place before the roots really take hold and the fanbase grows. People who were kids when the Preds came into existence are now in college and beyond, having kids of their own who they'll mold into Preds fans.

Makes me wonder if Atlanta ever truly got a fair shot (both times).

“I’ve never seen a city before (where) at a timeout, when the team needs a boost, (they) stand up and give them a standing ovation for 90 seconds,” says Horachek. “The whole team is going, ‘Come on, they got you, let’s go.’ It’s a special town that way. They’re vocal. They’re loud. They’re into it.”

That's just awesome.

I also didn't realize they have live musicians play during intermissions. I'm not one who cares a lot about in-arena entertainment...in fact I usually hate it and hate the idea that fans need things other than the game to keep themselves amused. But to me, this is really cool. From what I'm hearing there seems to be a Nashville flair to the arena experience. Every arena I've been to, the in-arena experience has been exactly the same, bland, a dime a dozen. Great that local traditions and culture are present for Preds games.

It's the most fun I've had on the road. The building itself is decent, but you have the crowd. The absolute best part is you walk out of the building and are surrounded by bars. They aren't a mile away or a shuttle away. There's a bar 20 yards from the exit to Bridgestone.

Best ARENA I've been to was Tampa. But the best experience is Nashville.
