I wanted him fired before this season but he really seemed to turn that team around and has had a reasonably long playoff run

Moore's team wasn't very good defensively, and was quite poor overall 5v5. The results were better this year, but the same problems were apparent each year. To me, of all the changes to come, this absolutely was one that had to be made.

I was not a fan of Moore at all. The least surprising change here. Just something not great about the way his team performed over time. The way they fizzled in the playoffs was awful as well.

Snowden will find a job quick. He should have been made HC before Moore.

Yeah. I think Dave Morrison survived and made it back to Winterfell though.

Some who weren't watching too closely the Marlies absolutely imploded in late March and all of April. The season had been so good up to that point that they hung onto first place. The Marlies went 2-11 to close out their season and several games were blow outs.

A.J. MacLean had been there since 2015 and came from the Soo with Keefe.

The Marlies should never really suck with the rosters they get gifted without a salary cap in the AHL. They sucked for a couple years under Moore before this year. The team did better this year but he never should have made it this far.

Good riddance. I thought Snowden had promise but I guess it didn't make sense to keep him either.

Moore was awful his first two years. Should have been fired then. He did make the most out of a couple of guys who were ECHL caliber, but for the most part, the Marlies sucked as soon as Anderson and Gaudette were no longer around the carry the team. Feel like those two were tossed into deals just to see if Moore could swim and he sank even harder than the previous years.

Definitely excited to hopefully get a good coaching staff back on the Marlies. It has been subpar since Keefe has left.

Even if he wasn't, assistant coach in the NHL is a much better gig.

The one move that I like that has happened today. Moore could be the worst coach in Marlies history and thats not hyperbole. We know how Keefe's tenure has gone at least in the playoffs here, but the difference from Keefe with the Marlies and Moore is huge.
