The issue over the past few seasons have been neither can maintain starter level performance for any length of time. This is what happened last year, then he tried to switch to a cold goalie and failed.

As soon as the puck goes to JT he is attempting to do it all himself... has always been his issue. If he would pass it to Marner he may get the return pass for a goal

Marner cant carry the puck. Hes bobbling it, is fading to the outside and playing softer than ever before

This is horrific play. Worse I have ever seen him play
