That's how much 100 point players his age are getting. Team is honesty in a tough spot. Can't resign him at 12 million what can they get trading him in a contract year if he even agrees to be traded. He's also a UFA so no compensation if he doesn't resign with the team.

No team is going to want to trade assets for someone they can get for free in summer 2025. All three options suck.
