I guess that means that for his entire career Patrice Bergeron was psychic... Because you're implying that you'd have to be to be a Selke candidate. Marner was supposed to predict that both Benoit and Knies would go to the point, give up on covering Pasta, AND that Pasta would skate out behind him uncovered?
Again, the issue here was Benoit. Pasta is his man, and he basically spent this entire play in no-man's land.
Saying Keefe is here for a couple of more years is clearly trolling.Thank God you're almost always wrong
99% agree but it feels like something drove Benoit to be out ... were they expecting a top circle shot? I would love to get he inside scoop on how the hell that ended up as it did.Coaching staff? What about the god damn players. These are professional f***in hockey players making millions. How the hell does Benoit not understand there's no need to rush the blueline as a defensemen with 7 seconds left. Instead just stick to Pasta like gum on the bottom of your shoe
Oh God no. But a 4th line winger never is. Where the hell are our 3 (or 4) 11 mil + players?Sure but that's not enough to win us games
This is tough hockey. So many hits
Marner's code for harping on the media is really firing back at the fans. He hates the criticism but he can't tell the fans to **** directly.why would our media have anything to do with it?
does media change Marners ability to play hockey?
such a strange comment.
Strange. He doesn’t feel it during the regular season. Only feels when the games get more intense and physical.Pretty clearly he feels the pressure of the fishbowl
An empty net once deked him .JT pokechecked by the blue line apparently.
Turning the page is moving on from Marner. You can feel it, like you know the passage of time has to actually occur but it just has that feeling of the team needing to turn the page.
