it is based off the 1927 Inaugral season but it was made by CCM probably in the 90s and it is 100% pure wool - just like the old legends used to wear on the ice

Yes, precisely. Also, I think it's actually just new to NA sports. A European footie team had a reversible jersey at some point.

Too bad tonight's was probably just a one-time thing. The black and blue makes them look mean and scary.

As a fan of a team that completely screwed up their alternate Jersey I just wanted to give kudos to the Leafs for doing a nice job. The jerseys looked good in action last night.
