Face palm all you want but way to often the Leafs are hemmed in their own end when Matthew and Marner are on the ice. They need to do better in controlling possession and getting it out. It’s not fair to blame everything on the defence…….especially when they are 2 of the contracts that have cost us the ability to have better defence

I'm not going to generalize because of this game, but man while this team can be very skilled like the 1st 15 minutes of this game showed you, a physical team can take that skill right out. We're pretty much the same team from last year. Dubas deserves credit for replacing Hyman with Bunting and Kase who have produced, but he's sustained a very soft identity. I would bag skate this bunch after a performance like this.

Well we lost due to terrible Defence. Muzzin and Holl need to come back asap

That pairing has been pretty bad for a while as well...

Our defense core and defensive system in general is in rough shape right now. I feel like we're a lock to give up 3-4 goals every night right now.
