Not having a clear striker is hurting TFC... They're playing good have control of the midfield but they have no option in the box nor a target for through balls. Get a CF in there.

That's about as entertaining as a 0-0 half can be. Fun game so far, now the boys just have to make it extra fun by winning the next 45

That's how you do pressers Babcock. Listen to Vanney. That's an articulate boss who knows how his team works.
Yet his tactical error of no CF is why they've had nothing to show for dominating the game so far. How do you play a game with no CF and expect to score?

You do know Altidore is injured and cant play 90+... we have no other options for CF..

No Altidore will do that. They got plenty of players who can finish though. Just gotta stick with it. They played well just put some finish here.

IT's not about said player... They don't have a player in that position at all. the position doesn't exist at all right now. This is soccer players are versatile to play multiple positions. It doesn't matter who it is get a guy to play that role. It's a need just to have that player in that position of the field even if he's not getting the ball for the tactic the coach want's to succeed in the final 3rd of the pitch for the 1-2's with attacking mids to open up. The way they're set up is to play for 0-0 draw and vulnerable on counter attacks...

Get a striker in there for the shape of the team to succeed.

What did he say? I missed it.

Basically said TFC had all the chances in the first half (which isn't exactly untrue)....the Seattle coach sarcastically responded "well we weren't very good, according to Toronto" when he was interviewed right after Vanney.
