Reports of Bale to LA. Could be some serious crossover for casual viewers between watching the world Cup and realizing they actually play in their domestic league.

Rumors that the toronto blizzards could get a cpl team, they just made a partnership with bayern Munich, could be in a few years or even next year. Will be interesting to see where they play.

Osorio with a big goal.

Is this Insigne any good? The article on sportsnet paints him as a god?
Would have been one of Italy's strikers for the World Cup. Good age to move.

His game is similar to Giovinco's only Insigne has already done it at a higher level (he's played CL and in both Euro and the 2014 World Cup).

If true, this would be incredible.

For those wondering, Bernardeschi was the guy that Napoli were trying to convince to come replace Insigne. With TFC, we can play him in a role closer to his national team role.

He's a much better and quicker player than Giovinco. Although he plays a wider roll. He involves his teammates more. He'll instantly become a star to the casual or those unfamiliar with football.

Only 31, so has a lot left. Although, i do worry about injuries with him.

How credible is that source? I've heard the rumours for a few weeks but never from any reputable source it seems. Would obviously be huge.

This TFC team is starting to come around at the right time and it looks like we're about to add some quality players. Can't wait.

Don't know what's TFCs obsession with Italians NT players is about, they're not even a world cup caliber team

It's catering to the huge Italian community me thinks in Toronto, but the players rumored to be brought in and Insigne are pure class.

Wow, Bernadeschi?!? Still only 28 with lots of talent. A front 3 with him on one wing and Insigne on the left would be something rather special.

I'm salivating at the possibility (and likelihood if signed) of:
Insigne - Akinola - Bernadeschi

If you can somehow find a way to line up so Jimenez plays underneath Akinola that attack would be deadly and probably the best in MLS

They just won the Euros last summer, and then they had a disappointing World Cup qualifying run. They are still considered a top team on the global stage.

Regardless, none of that changes the fact that Insigne at the age of 31 could be the best player to ever step on the pitch in MLS history. The marketing overtones to the Italian community in Toronto is going to help the club financially for years to come, much like when Giovinco was here.

I look forward to a rocking packed house at BMO Field again.
