LOL what a joke. Did he watch the game yesterday and change his mind?
Wouldn't you do same .. holy moly .. I admit I am not a soccer guy but I did have seasons for a few years and learned a lot from soccer guys in hooligan section where i sat .. it is why earlier in this thread i asked where is da midfield to run game down and make plays to forwards .. and how can a manager manage his kid who is one of da main problems .. you guys all told me he would play back in system and it would be fine with Osorio making it happen .. well that was dead wrong .. until we get a 2 solid midfielders this team can load up on forwards and defenders all they want .. it will be useless .. and Poz clearly is not dropping back to fill da void .. maybe Bradley can play defense with Mexican .. i don't know but i do know this team is built wrong .. i think Bradly sr thinks his kid can run team still .. well our new manager is wrong in his assessment .. and father time is workign against junio now for past 3 years sorry to say .. but da truth is hard and tough

This is an illegible mess.

Please use punctuation.

Also, it is best not to jump to conclusions after a game or two. Players are just getting to know one another.

I have seen enough .. last place is imminent
That's just a bad take. One week ago they took a point (should have been 3) away from home against a really solid Dallas team. It's too early to judge this team. I have said it on here before; New manager, new system, huge roster turnover, still waiting for the marquee signing to arrive, etc. Not to mention there are a bunch of youth players just getting their footing in the pro-game. These are not easy circumstances for TFC to succeed in. With all these factors we are going to see ebbs and flows in the early stages of this season. Some of those growing pains may still persist at the halfway point and beyond. This team is a project, it's going to take time.

As for your analysis on the midfield... Doesn't really make sense to me. We dominated the ball and actually progressed the ball decently. The two issues were some lapses on the backline and a lack of decisiveness in the final third. Good MF's don't grow on trees in this league. TFC actually has 2 really good ones in Oso and Poz, Poz being an all-star caliber one.

i don't know but i do know this team is built wrong
You don't know this. The literal biggest piece of this team, arguably the best player in the league, hasn't even put on the kit yet.... Just an embarrassing take....

1st 2 games we got crushed in midfield both games .. Poz plays like a 10 .. we have no 6 7 or 8 .. very few balls got moved up front in either game .. and our defense was under pressure from attack in both games .. da truth hurts .. and it will get much worse .. father son combos with son in most important positions NEVER work out

And I thought we looked pretty good in game one. But as a poster suggested there are quite a few new bodies , a new coach etc. We just can’t afford to get behind in the standings.

We have no natural fullbacks on the roster and that will be a problem. Bradley should try a different formation - maybe a 3-5-2, to tread water until reinforcements arrive.

Maybe drop Bradley jr back to central defense with Salcedo with 2 fast wide defenders .. and hit tender big kicks up to Poz .. and then use $$$ on this guy who turned us down to get a big fast central midfielder who can control game play .. this is where $$$ needs to go .. but with Bradly sr in charge he won't do it .. blood is deeper than team unfortunately

You do realize that TFC isn't playing Bradley at central midfield, correct? He's playing holding midfield.

Their 3 is:
Pozuelo - Osorio
Bradley

The issues are:
1) Shaffelberg cannot play LB defensively right now (offensively, he's spectacular)

2) Inconsistency at the front (expected from younger guys)

and 3) a 4-3-3 against NY led to Bradley being the only guy the D could pass to, which NY caught on to and started covering him.

I think we would be better as a 3-4-3 for now with Mavinga, Salcedo and O'Neill across the back.

That would allow Marshall-Ruty to move up to a wide MF role with Poz and Osorio with Bradley playing behind them (and Marshall-Ruty essentially playing FB without playing FB)

All I saw was NY midfield running through our midfield at will with zero ability to even slow them down .. it was chance after chance after chance .. da defenders had to deal with 4 of 5 guys running at them at full speed

The bolded isn't true. Look at the stats and a pass map from either game... The midfield was fine and actually controlled temp on the weekend. We were sloppy at times and lost the game on the counter and ac couple of break downs.... That is bound to happen in a new system with 2 kids playing @ FB on each side of the field

A change of information may be in the cards. That being said I think a 4-3-3 should be this team's end goal with the personnel it will have.

I don't disagree. Criscito and Marshall-Ruty would make for a very good back 4.

The problem is that right now, I'm not sure there is a viable LB option.

Here’s the problem with mls

1 guy that isn’t gonna with the league alone is making 11.5+ per year

a team with 11 starters each making 1 million would be a top teAm

I don't care what stats say .. watched both games .. both teams carried ball at WILL through TFC from goal to our defense whenever they wanted to .. da only time we were in either game was 2nd half of Texas game where we exchanged opportunities and maybe had a slight advantage .. don't worry it is gonna occur in every game henceforth until midfield is FIXED or manager is canned for playing his son .. this was another terrible move for MLSE bringing in a father - son team .. I suspect Manning will end up being let go too

Good lord are you alright??

you are the only person I've seen (network and internet pundits alike) who thinks the midfield is to blame for those losses. Do you really think you are the only one who sees that the midfield is the "real problem"? Don't you think that if the midfield was really as bad as you say that people would be talking about it more?

Calling for the coach to be canned after two matches, give me a break.

Paying a team of 11 starters $1m each is more or less impossible/improbable under the MLS salary cap. IIRC players who are not designated players can only have a max salary of like half a mil (yes I know there's a bunch of allocation money you can use to slide the money around).

A wealthy team is incentivized to splash $11m on a marquee player designated player who doesn't count against the cap since if you have the financial strength you might as well use it

Da emporer never realized he was naked .. of course tfc fanboys/media are never going to tell ya da truth .. team just hired bradleys dad and kid jr was da hero/captain with Vaz/Seba for a championship team .. best if he would just retire as a player and help his dad on development side .. he flat out can't keep up at all anymore and this trend started 2-3 years ago
