While I follow TFC I don’t really follow European soccer. Outside the obvious big signing are the other two rumoured Italian signings worth getting excited about on a much lower scale? Are there any new guys currently playing worth paying special attention too? Lots of new faces.
 
Great showing on the weekend. Probably should have left with 3 points, but you take a draw given the circumstance (new coach, away form home, new players, etc). Just got to keep building on this!
 
Yeah not a bad result at all. I watched the game and i thought they looked pretty good overall. Good control of the game for the most part.

I am pretty concerned with how thin the squad is though.... I mean there are like no options on the bench. It's too bad Liam Fraser isn't there anymore as he would be perfect in this team. They really should have valued him over Marky Delgado. oh well.

What's up with Ayo Akinola? Is he still injured?

they need one or two more signings to come in right now.. Nevermind this july window. right now.
 
Really promising display Saturday. I had my doubts about Shaff (on the defensive side of the ball) at LWB but he was solid.

Not so sure I like Poz sitting that deep in midfield. Honestly, I'm not sure he sticks around beyond this year, or if he does, not as a DP. I know he's only a couple years removed from an MVP season but I don't think his play justifies a DP slot.

Jimenez looks good. Smart player.

Also, can we talk about Jaden Nelson?? The speed, the technical dribbling, can make guys lunge in and miss. Breakout year for him.

Criscito and Destro are worth getting excited about by MLS standards.

Our new striker Jesus Jimenez looks like a solid under the radar acquisition.

We also have some exciting young players that have come through the TFC Academy that are now getting their opportunities. Keep an eye on Nelson, Marshall-Rutty, Priso, Okello and Perruzza this season.

Love it when guys go from Acadamy to TFC 2, to the TFC first team. Shows how the sport and coaching has advanced in this country
