To be honest neither team really needs a win they need other teams to not win.

I don't usually watch much soccer. But, I couldn't miss this one. That was a great game and an epic finish.

US dominated possession. But, the defense was hard to penetrate, the goalie is very good and they look to have some finishers outside of their missing star player.

With Panama winning and Mexico/Costa Rica tying to qualify on Wednesday Canada would need to win, have Costa Rica Lose or Tie against Jamaica, USA lose to Honduras, and Panama lose to Mexico.

Canada Clinches World Cup Spot with CAN Win + CRC Loss/Tie + USA Loss + PAN Loss

If all 4 of those things happen then Costa Rica is out and there's no way to get all 3 of Panama, USA, Mexico ahead of Canada. Panama would be 8 back and have to win all 3 remaining games. 1 of which is over the USA which would leave USA 7 back with 2 games left which isn't enough. 1 of USA or Panama would have to finish behind Canada
