I agree with Kampf when he says it has been a benefit to him because he plays a defensive game where strength is an asset. I also think it has greatly helped him in the faceoff dot as well. He leads the team with a 52.77% success rate.

Sounds like he has a body that can withstand 4 rounds of a playoff grind as a defensive specialist that can win draws. We need specialists in the bottom 6 not jack of all trades who are average at everything. For 1.5 it's a nice price. Just needs to score 1 goal to match Danaults playoff offence as well.

You're assuming all the FAs signed today will make team and count against the cap, which definitely won't be the case.

Right now, we can assume Mrazek, Bunting, and Kampf will be in the starting lineup.

still not enough cap to bring in someone that can play top 6 up front, take out Amadio and Gabriel and that's another $1.5 which gives you in total $3.1M
