JVR is our (nation's) favourite trading chip, and hence is often overvalued in these (nation's) trade proposals.

Legend:

Bolding is to emphasize the essentials after non-essentials/distractions are removed.

so you actually believe habs will give up a blue chip Dman - who was a first + additional firsts for JVR?

delusional. answer is no

I don't see how that post was saying he's not lazy?

Pacioretty is lazy. Isn't that a big criticism ppl have for him?

The way he's been shooting the puck has been lazy. That's about it. He still works hard.

(...) Pacioretty has some serious problems scoring goals, but he's a very good defensive player, unlike the black hole that is JVR.

Why did they make Pacioretty captain? Kind of dumb to make someone who is so lazy captain, no?

The post you quoted just stated the contrary...

Reading is not your forte ?

How is stating that he's very good defensively not saying that he's not lazy ?

Patches is now up to 12 points in 15 games and clearly not at the top of his game.

He is also +8 averaging over 17 minutes on the first ranked team. He must still be doing something right.

you saying he's not lazy is your opinion.... probably bc your a habs fan.

Most unbiased ppl know he's lazy.

Maybe being objective is not your forte?

Setting aside so-called "opinions", let's focus on the main issue : "How is stating that he's very good defensively not saying that he's not lazy ?"

Umm what? I'm confused what your asking. "How is saying he's good defensively not saying he's not lazy?"

You said that. Why don't you explain it?

O_O

I know that you are confused, you did not have to admit it.

As the previous poster explained, good defensive play requires effort...

ok.......

good defensive play requires effort. Not ground breaking stuff.

I asked why they chose a lazy player for captain....

O_O

I really don't know if I should  or  .

So let's add this up:

(1) Good defensive play requires effort.

(2) Pacioretty is a good defensive player.

(3) Pacioretty is lazy ???

Now your the one who's confused. #2 is false and something I never said.

Maybe you weren't paying attention?

You and I would be +5 if we played in front of Price. Seriously why is it that people cannot understand the Canadians begin and end with Price. Look that is not to say he is not a great player but he is certainly not a JcJesus, JT, Kane, etc level of player.

Seriously, you need to stop watching Toronto and start watching Montreal.

The team is not trading any of their better players at this time. Expect minor trades from Montreal, if at all.

The Canadians might, but the Canadiens don't.

PS: If you would be +5 if you played in front of Price, he must be the best player ever, notwithstanding you last sentence.
