Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. There are plenty of examples of lower AAV deals, those are just the ones that came to mind. Many of them are dmen, but the point remains. I guess the most recent comparable I can think off the top of my head is Konecny at 5.5
The most recent "Comparable" you can think of was signed almost 6 years ago?
Nevermind that Konecny signed for $1.5M more than you suggested for Knies, for 2 years less than you suggested for Knies, under a salary cap $11M lower than what it was projected to be at the time you made that suggestion.
Konecny's contract is not remotely close to the 8 x $4M you were suggesting for Knies lmao.

I love how you get confronted with a counterpoint and when you can no longer argue the point you retreat to your "You're just a Leaf hater" shield.
For the record, Knies wouldn't sign that contract you suggested with 31 other teams, either.

Impossible to know how teams really view these players and how they fit into plans 2-3-4 years out. But on the surface, this feels like a deal the Wild would do. Imo
