I just hope they can work on his skating a bit more, but overall, not a bad start for the kid

Kid has good potential, just need to set reasonable expectations. He can be a 3rd pairing defensive D, similar to Tanev in style. Not much offense there, but will block lots of shots and kill penalties. Good size frame too.
