Seems like a low risk and medium reward. Krys had some solid draft pedigree a few years ago. I don't think the Leafs had any plans on using Gabriel at the NHL level after acquiring Clifford.

I assume Hardy had a lot of say in this one since it primarly affects his roster. It doesn't affect the Leafs at all.
