I won't speak for everyone but I would guess it's a vocal minority that have an axe to grind with him because he's not a hitting machine like any of the 2011 roster.

He's not without faults and this season has not been his strongest but he's been a fixture in our top 4 for many years. He's a great defensive dman with a great ability to shutdown the other team while taking a significant amount of DZ starts especially in the last 3 years. He's as offensively inept as they come but the Bruins and Bruins fans should not be begging to get the guy off our team by any means.

Are you talking about the Carlo that plays for the Bruins?

Like all fan bases there are people that love or hate him so as you have fans that feel that way about leafs players. Carlo is a good top 4 shut down dman. The Bruins have way too much money allocated to d which is why I'd like them to move one. Carlo is the easiest of the bunch to move and good RHD are hard to find. Your comparison exposes you lack of knowledge of him as a player

It's difficult to see Boston making a deal to help the Leafs win, maybe if Boston is going to be out of the playoffs and really don't want the Panthers to repeat...

Bruins owe the Leafs a 2nd pairing D for the Kaberle trade back in 2011. This is it.

Leafs got a 1st, 2nd, and failed 1st round prospect Colborne.

Kaberle was a rental. Carlo would solidify the top four perfectly and push the Leafs to the ECF.
