Would make this team even deadlier but I’d love to see him on the third.
I don't think the coaching staff believes he's defensively responsible enough to take a regular shift on any line period, let alone a line as defensively responsible as one with Lundell and Loustarinen.

Hopefully this upcoming camp proves otherwise, but I just don't think a bottom six role on this team puts him in a position to maximize his talents. Now if they moved ERod down to the 3rd line and Samo to the top line then I think that would give him a better chance to make a real impact.

I just(again) don't see that kind of trust being given to him unless he REALLY shows the coaches in camp that he's up to it.

Yeah, I mean we'll see, but IMO it wouldn’t be bad to see him start the year in the AHL and get call-ups here and there; have him ready in case someone goes down.
But if he outright earns the spot then I'm all for it.

anyone want to take a stab at the current top 10? we are compiling on the prospect board.
i've got sourdif, eriksson, devine, sawchyn, st. martin in a top 5. vilmanis, alscher and zether
are intriguing.

Not sure Eriksson should be in the top-5… Benning certainly should hold a spot there.

Shuravin should be in top-10 too IMO.

Hovorka is intriguing.

Vilmanis and Alscher would be my guess to round out the top-10.

Some people are high on a couple of our goalie prospects, I’d rather say I have zero clue but trust our goalie department…

McAllister and Okuliar could be dark horses but they are older projects.

Personally, I am really REALLY high on Vilmanis and Shuravin !!

Gerasimyuk is an underrated goalie prospect
