Its very early, but Rasmus Dahlen has to be a top 5 prospect at this tourny. He is the favorite to go 1st in 2018 at the moment, in what looks to be a fairly deep draft.

My top 5 players would be

1:Strome
2: Dubois
3: Kaprizov
4: Keller
5: Juolevi

My top 5 prospects would be
1: Rasmus Dahlen
2: Dylan Strome
3: PLD
4: Clayton Keller
5: Nico Hischier

HM: Elias Pettersson, Alex Nylander, Juolevi, and Sergachev.

No, there is a clear distinction. Certain players are more polished, but have less upside.

A good example might be Polunin vs. Rubtsov. Polunin is already a solid KHL regular and has more expectations for this tournament, but Rubtsov has significantly more upside for a future.

Players:

1. Kaprizov
2. Samsonov
3. Keller
4. Strome
5. Barzal

Prospects:

1. Dahlin
2. Samsonov
3. Sergachyov
4. Dubois
5. Kaprizov

No Chabot, not a fan of him?

I don't dislike him, and he could probably make my honorable mentions. To be honest, I've seen a lot more of the OHL guys (Sergachev and Juolevi), so I might have a slight bias towards them. I find forwards I can get a grasp on with a couple viewings, whereas defenders I find you need at least 10 or so quality viewings (where you closely pay attention to them) to have a good understanding of where to place them.

I have Dahlen this high without having seen him this much just due to what other people I trust are telling me.

Fair enough.
