I will try the Blues

1. Robert Dirk vs Mark Tinordi-This was a toe to toe war that occured in the old Met Centre and it showed what an underrated scrapper Dirk was.

2. Darin Kimble vs Shane Churla-This occured in the 90-91 playoffs and these 2 went toe to toe in a great fight that made Don Cherry's tape that year.

3.Reed Low vs PJ Stock-This one occured in Boston and rivals the Stock-Peat fight that everyome knows about not quite as good but very close.

4. Todd Ewen vs Bob Probert 1-They had 3 very good fights when Ewen was a Blue I picked this one because Ewen KO'd Probie.

5. Tony Twist vs Rob Ray-Twist Broke Ray's orbital bone in this fight and announced to the league to "Watch his Right hand".

6. Jocelyn Lemieux vs Bob McGill-This was a toe to toe bout behind the net in Chicago.

7, Rudy Poeschek vs Sandy McCarthy-This one could be top 5 and is a absolute war.

8.Jack Carlson vs Daryl Stanley-

9. Basil McRae vs Darin Kimble-Basil gets the best of then Hawk Kimble in a great bout.

10. Kelly Chase vs Denis Vial-Chase wins a marathon bout here where he shows his ability to be a smart technical fighter.

Bruins (in no particular order)

1.O'Reilly vs Gilles- pick any of the 5

2. Dafoe vs Lalime- Dafoe also fought Kolzig

3. Stock vs Peat- Maybe the best fight of last decade

4. Stock vs Low- Another dandy

5. Jonathan vs Bouchard- Bouchard was never the same player

6. Lucic vs Komisarek- Round 1, Komisarek went on to not learn his lesson

7. Neely vs Lemiuex- Claude that is

8. Neely vs Samuelson- Some revenge on a guy who cut a HOFers career short

9. Samsonov vs Kapenen- Short fight in more ways then one

10. Thornton vs Carsillo- Needed a filler, so why not role with a Winter Classic first?

Toronto Maple Leafs...in no order

Sylvain Lefebvre vs Rob Brown (DOWN GOES BROWN!!)
Wendel Clark vs Marty McSorely (The famous playoff fight after the Gilmour hit.)
Ken Baumgartner vs Cam Russell (Slugfest)
John Kordic vs. Basil McRae (Slugfest)
Bryan Marchment vs Craig Rivet (Slugfest)
Felix Potvin vs Ron Hextall (Goalie Fight!)
Wendel Clark vs John Kordic (Slugfest)
Tie Domi vs. Rob Ray (great rivalry)
Mark LaForest vs. Sean Burke (Line brawl, goalie get into it but the refs break it up, then still end up scrapping, twice!)
Todd Gill vs Joel Otto (Otto smacks Gill over the head with the stick, and Gill fills him in.)

Columbus Blue Jackets. The first four are the my favorites, the rest could be ranked a number of different ways.

1) Derek Dorsett vs. Daniel Carcillo 2008-09. Epic. I think it was Hockeyfights.com on Puck Daddy that put this in the top 10 of the decade.

2) Jared Boll vs. Jordin Tootoo from 07-08. Tootoo took liberty with the CBJ the game before, fighting "skilled fighter" Jan Hejda & then Jason Chimera with Boll out of the lineup. After running from Boller like a wuss for a while during the 07-08 season, he had to answer here:

3) Derek Dorsett vs. Darcy Tucker. Dors was once quoted as having said Darcy Tucker was his favorite player growing up. Another feature on him said that his most cherished hockey card was one of Tucker's.

The first time he was on the ice with his hero...they tossed the mitts...and Tucker didn't realize he was dealing with a live grenade.

4) Ole-Kristian Tollefsen vs. Mark Smith, 06-07. OKT's TKO. The Norwegian Nightmare at work:

5) Alexander Svitov vs. Duncan Keith, 12/31/06. The commentary is the best..."Here goes Duncan KEITH AND SVITOV!?!", followed by Eddie Olczyk's incessant pleas for Jim Vandermeer to take a Third Man In ("Somebody's got to GET IN THERE!"), only to sullenly say "It's too late..."

6) Duvie Westcott vs. Sean Avery. This one will cater to the Avery-haters. Concussion-prone offensive defenseman Duvie Westcott attempts to lay the beatdown on Avery & finds some success in doing so:

7) Jody Shelley vs. Andre Roy, Ron Hainsey vs. Colby Armstrong, Cale Hulse vs. Max Talbot. All kinds of fun going on at the same time here.

8) CBJ/NYR Oliwa vs. Marshall, Wright vs. McCarthy, other happiness.

9) Jody Shelley vs. Aaron Downey 05-06. Grappling and hand-grabbing followed by...Ohhhhh!

10) Mike Commodore vs. Primeau. Chimera/Nystrom was a nice fight, but the real show was really only seen by those at the game (thanks to the replay being in the way), when Commie one-punched Primeau into space. You can even see Commie asking if he was OK.

Honorable Mention:
The "Civil War", Jared Boll vs. Jody Shelley. The longtime CBJ fighting icon comes home and takes on the young gun. I wondered which fighter the CBJ crowd was pulling for. Reports from the Dispatch about texts between the two saying "Good fight" after the game showed the lighter side of the scrap.

The Buckeye Battle, RJ Umberger vs. Ryan Kesler. We know these two hate each other from when they were teammates at OSU. Not a great scrap, but it boiled over last season.

Rick Nash vs. David Backes. Backes makes a third attempt to headhunt and destroy members of the Canadian Olympic Team.

Backes discovers Rick Nash is slightly tougher than Jonathan Toews.

Jon Mirasty vs. Josh Gratton, 08-09 Pre-season. If only for a couple days, Nasty makes the show.

The best part was before the game. During the pre-game skate, Mirasty and Tom Sestito barked back and forth across the red line with Jordin Tootoo. Nasty said he challenged Tootoo, who declined, but found a willing taker in Gratton.

The revenge factor must have been nice, but that wasn't much of a fight... McCarty basically just jumped Lemieux. Sure Lemieux "turtled", but he barely had a chance to fight back. The rematch was much better. Lemieux still got dialed, but at least he went down swinging.

For the Sharks, i can't really pick ten but a few that stand out

Jody Shelley vs Donald Brashear-the only time these two have ever fought believe it or not and it was awesome.

Ryane Clowe vs Jordin Tootoo-Clowe beats down Tootoo towards the end of a playoff game, pretty wild ending with three fights going on at once.

all i can think of right now.

1) Rivet vs. Marchment
2) Souray vs McCarthy
3) Laraque vs Gratton
4) Markov vs Spezza...ok it was a ****** fight but it was Markov vs Spezza c'mon
5) O'Byrne vs Kaleta
6) Laraque vs Shelley
7) Komi vs Lucic...not the ending I was hoping for but probably the most anticipated fight of the year between B's and Habs fans.
8) Begin vs Smith...not much of a fight but the hit beforehand lends bonus points.
9) Latendresse vs Pratt
10) Pouliot vs Redden

Have you seen Probie's fight with Craig Coxe, Troy Crowder or Link Gaetz. Look up those on you-tube they are Kick ass as well. The Wings have had some damn tough teams over the years.

Too many for me to choose from
I will try and impromptu off the cuff list for the Ducks.

In no real order

Mark Jannsens vs Jim Cummins-These two guys pull the old rock em sock em robots in this one just a war.

Stu Grimson vs Ryan Vandenbuschhe rd 2-Grimson gets revenge for Vandy bloodying his nose in an earlier scrap.

Stu Grimson vs Rob Ray-another toe toe toe beauty

Todd Fedoruk vs Brian McGrattan

I am not really a Ducks fan someone that is could do a better list for sure but those fights jumped out at me from just memory.

Great list man, my two favorite Wendel Clark moments were when he went toe to toe with Behn Wilson of the Hawks and When he laid out Bruce Bell with a body check behind the net in the old STL arena. Even as a Blues fan that was a hell of a hit. Best open ice hit I have ever seen.
