I'd wager if the same thing happened not involving DeAngelo, we never hear about it.

This very much feels like a last straw.

Yeah we heard about the Dubi Boyle fight but that was on the ice and everyone was brothers afterwards.

At a certain point when you've done enough the employer just needs one excuse.

I remember a tenured professor at Buffalo didn't even teach, they couldn't fire him for it, so he got let go for sleeping in his office.

Who cares if he sucked, they both sucked....watching that Crosby goal last night again it was hard to watch

Right, exactly. I was responding to a person who said they don't blame Tony for (allegedly) starting something with Geo because Geo sucked. Just pointing out that it's the equivalent of saying "I don't blame Tony for being a hypocrite".

Then why was he resigned J.D and Gordon??????

Id assume because when he was resigned he had a good year, had mostly been quiet on social media (nothing truly controversial) and his on ice performance had shown he was "movable". The past few months have been a clear trend downwards. Him moving to parler/ him discussing the election, his bad penalties and really bad defensive play without correspondingly impressive offensive play.
No one had a problem with the 4.8 /2 number, it was considered fair market.

They knew he was an idiot when they traded for him and when they resigned him. The problem seems to be the rest of the league knows he’s an idiot too so it’s tough to trade him.

I took a nap in my office once lol

Because everybody on HF NYR would be complaining that it was bad asset management if they let him sit out as an RFA after unsuccessfully trying to trade him this summer, because armchair GMs know everything that's going on in and around teams and don't just look at point totals, analytics, and cap friendly...

You were responding to me....I said it as a joke, you took it like I was being serious

but honestly if the rangers win that game none of this happens, guaranteed

Ill sum it up...he's an idiot, who can't defend, whos only saving grace was that he could put up points and now the points are gone and he's just an idiot who can't defend. I took all the guess work out for you all.

It's funny, for weeks we see people complaining about torts for dumping gasoline on the fire talking in the media about PLD, and now we see people wanting gorts to come out and address the media about ADA. Damned if you do damned if you don't

DQ starts Georgiev over Shesterkin for no reason.
Georgiev plays a poor game.
Georgiev turns the puck over in OT.
Georgiev let’s in a soft goal to Crosby.
DeAngelo is angry at Georgiev for the turnover.
Georgiev gets defensive and a teammate steps in.

All starts with DQ.
DQ sucks but this conveniently ignores DeAngelo wasn't good, either.
