FYI bbkers posted on the main board that there was indeed a fight.

I commented last night that I don't remember seeing CK so pissed in a post game interview in a very long time if ever

All this means is that there was probably no fight lol.

In all seriousness, there was a ton of smoke around there being a fight before he said anything. Something major had to have happened for him to get waived.

I know you're trying to draw a comparison here to defend your guy, but there really isn't one. First off, Henrik is a f***ing king who carried the franchise to relevancy for years, if he does some shit like that, you deal with it.

DeAngelo is far from a king and makes enough of his own mistakes that lead to goals and chances against.

Second, he wouldn't throw his arms up like TDA does and make as much of a scene.
It was a joke, Hank is my favorite Ranger of all time lol

Ok I'm confused now. Someone tell me this thing with Kreider? What did he say? Did he beat the shit out of Tony?

There isn't anything concrete yet, and there may never be. Have to wait and see when the press talks to people

Tony stans in shambles right now

But seriously, this dude was a ticking time bomb and the Rangers f***ed up bringing him back

Shoulda moved him in the summer, he’s proven at every turn he’s a f***ing idiot and at this stage of the game things aren’t going to change

Also I know it probably wasn’t him but I’ll go buy a Miller jersey tomorrow if it comes out he’s the one that beat Tony’s ass

It's one thing to have extreme viewpoints. It's another thing to be so outspoken that everyone you come across needs to know your views on every topic.

You can get by with just the former. But when the two are added together, you're asking for trouble in a professional environment.

The kid is a hot-head and a loudmouth. That alone puts into question his ability to be a good addition to a locker room. Add his viewpoints, and oh boy you got a stew going in today's environment.

What bothers me is the fact that off ice issues with him is nothing new, he has a great season last year, you give him a new contract then 8 games in he's on waivers. Don't you think you should of sold him at 50 cents on the dollar during the offseason, to now basically giving him away for free. Just seems like very bad asset management given that pros and cons didn't just become exposed yesterday.

Maybe something happened, yesterday.

Look, Tony (as a teen) had some issues in juniors which led to some concerns about him.

Tampa took him at #19, he had an amazing, historic year in juniors, and then put up a bunch of points as an AHL rookie. All is well? Evidently not as they trade him for the #37 after one pro season (Hajek, go figure).

Then he's in Arizona where they're trying to build a team and a culture. He's again very productive in the AHL but still finds himself getting scratched at both the AHL and NHL levels. Arizona moves on after a year.

He comes here, doesn't really ingratiate himself to AV despite his promise. Has issues right off the bat with Quinn for a number of reasons (even if people didn't like those reasons). Does his social media thing which draws negative attention. Now he's waived after having an awesome breakout last year.

There's an issue with this player. Maybe we should have cut bait sooner. Maybe we should have never pursued him. Maybe the coach and FO should have handled it better. And yet...the player himself is still ultimately responsible.

Could be one of those all-time weird teams (especially for modern NHL, where the players/storylines are never that crazy). Say what you want about our beat guys but I'm sure they wish they were allowed to get closer to the circus.

Two wins, blowing leads, can’t play a full 60 minute effort, Zib MIA, Chytil looks to turn a corner only to go down for 6 weeks, Kakko and Laf both mostly invisible. Shesterkin not the clear starter. Line juggling galore. Decent prospect in Gauthier benched indefinitely in favor of career fringe AHLers.

after reading this part of your post, I’m curious to know if TDA simply lost his shit bc this squad lost yet another winnable game. I willing to bet he was heated and pissed off at the piss poor play oozing from this team and he went bat shit crazy on one of his teammates.

This reddit & twitter narrative of a Miller/DeAngelo beef fan-fiction is pathetic.
