I work in a hospital. What exactly has Tony D'Angelo done for hospital workers that I am unaware of? What hospital?

It's one thing to have divergent views. When you are a racist and a bigot and you expect people to respect your opinion in a "free" country you are downright delusional so you are better off just keeping your big mouth shut or moving away from this area to perhaps a place where your bigoted views will go unchallenged. If you can't handle the heat get the hell out of the kitchen. Most of you might not be from NYC but as someone whose been here my whole life I can tell you this is not a place to run your mouth with bigoted views and expect to come away unscathed.

back to hockey for a second, I didn't watch today's game but Jack Johnson was not in the lineup and Tony was -2. I'm sure the advanced stats community can explain to me why Tony is not as horrific at defense as his non-fancy stats seem to indicate.

I am the one on this board though that has the wild theory that having Tony as a partner actually made Marc Staal look worse.

Just watched the condensed game. 1st one Rust was at center ice on a breakaway while deangelo was still beneath the dots, absolutely on Deangelo for pinching. 2nd one, not anyone's fault in particular. A bad bounce off of Tony's stick. Not sure what he's doing chasing a forward up above the circle in the first place though...

Does anyone know if any recent thought has been given to playing him at RW on lower 6?

Theoretically he'd have more value as a scoring D who can actually play D well, but there is a strong perception he can't do D sufficiently well.
Officially moving him to RW resolves probs and while it is not immediate, we need to be way ahead of this for Nils L.

We need to avoid another Namest debacle.
It took WAY to long to unload him, and that took mins away from others.

No screwing around w/Nils, just unload a couple of excess vets beg w/DeA and be done with it.

I thought he used the N word at first but someone meant a compelling argument that it was probably an F word but not the one that means to fornicate. Apparently the team he was playing didn't even have a black player on it, so using that would have been weird. And if what he said was the gay slur f word, I'm sorry if I'm not going to lose sleep over a 16/17 year old saying it. If the guy he said it was gay and Tony knew it that's f***ed up. Likely he meant it as "sissy" and at 16/17 years old that's how a lot of people talk. If he said it now that's a different story. But worst case scenario he called a black player the N word as a kid so he's a racist for the rest of his life? The idea that saying something racist you're kid makes you irredeemable makes you a worse person than actually saying that as a kid.
