Always loved his music since I was a kid, as he's my namesake... Legendary performer and has some of my favorite versions of many popular songs. RIP

There was a warmth to his singing voice that always seemed special to me.

Fly me to the moon too.

His wife said even once Tony forgot names, he never forgot songs. Something about the musical part of the brain hardwiring melodies and rhythms even once other memories go. Tony lived a long life before the first symptoms of Alzheimers began appearing around 90, but he continued singing without missing a beat... literally.... until he was 95.

Amazing career and one of the last threads connecting us to a magical era of music. RIP.

It's an incredible phenomenon how something that would logically seem connected are actually compartmentalized differently... The singer of my favorite local music group has a pretty significant stammer in normal conversation, but when he gets on stage he can rap the entire set, and even riff between songs with no problem.
