I thought he played better this year and deserved a better look but at least Trotz got something for him. This is definitely good for the player, takes more pressure off the coach to play a younger player, and makes the team older.... Sounds like a win, win, win all the way around. Are we on the Oprah Show? Is Charlie Sheen back?

I know I'm in the minority on this one, but I haven't been super high on Tomasino for the past few seasons. He should've been traded when his value was higher.

It's extremely disheartening to think that we had 3 (albeit late) first rounders that have been lost for a 4th

It's not about that but the way he was handled all the way from when Hynes was the coach. Just complete shitshow of a development curve for him and no clue whatsoever of what was expected from him (again).

For me, it is the trend that kills me. That and young players not being given any real chances. They may get a couple minutes here and there with the top 6 but no real runs or time to gel. Novak, Evangalista, Svechkov have all had a couple shifts but if they arent given some time to develop chemistry how do you expect things to work. Hell sissons gets all sorts of time with the 2nd line and it still has done a whole lot of nothing at 5v5

The ability to identify, draft and develop offensive talent is practically nonexistent in Nashville. Not sure how many scouts have been around for 2 decades plus, but it's very clear that people at every level of the organization need to lose their jobs

This. Absolutely this. To me the whole point justifying bringing in guys like Stamkos and Marchessault and Skjei was so that there would be folks for the kids to learn from and be insulated by. Instead, the kids are getting discarded at an alarming rate for fractions of pennies on the dollar.
