It depends, they use to do both. If you got the ones they could do right away they heat pressed them. If you wanted to wait 6-8 weeks they sewed them on.

So I'm assuming they are the heat pressed ones. Not a problem for the price as I also have another I got on sale and have no problems. I'd obviously pick sewn on, but beggars can't be choosers...
