Just lost a game that they were leading 3-0. And, no, I'm not trying to troll here. But, aside from MacKinnon, Makar and Blackwood, the team seems unable to compete. Oilers, Jets and Canadiens all were on back to back games and won in Denver. Almost lost to NYR. It looks like the Cup window is fully closed. Willing to look at proposals for majority of roster other than the 3 previously mentioned players.

Really…………..?

Go to sleep... it was just one game.
Avs are 11-2-1 in one goal games

If they win their division I'd like their chances but going through one of Winnipeg or Dallas in the 1st round seems like a tough task.

If you call fixing the bottom 6 and bottom 4 D rebuilding sure go for it.
Sure. They all seem expendable at this point. I'd even consider trading Rantanen too though.

They're not beating Dallas. That's for sure.

That sounds like a good idea.

No. It's been 3 seasons of mediocre play now. I've been patient enough.
3 yrs of Avs being a contender.
Just be glad with what you have ... 20 other teams wish they had your team.

Send Manson to Edmonton if you really want a rebuild. We will take him for picks prospects or whatever magic bean you think will help your rebuild.

OConnor kid looked great tonight as well.

A healthy Minnisota Wild team might win the West.

Really? Those fans bases would enjoy the prime years of their best players going to waste?

No offense, when the Oilers are backed up against the wall, they have made many teams feel this way this year. Avs are still contenders.

I'm very surprised to hear this from an Avs fan but you would know much more then me about his situation. As a fan for Canucks I've always thought he was a stud.
He's a slower player and a winger looking to make bank. Not really the best way to spend your money. What's the story on Petterson? I always thought he was the second coming of Datsyuk.

I'm sorry but I can't take the OP seriously.

Teams with multiple generational players in their prime don't rebuild.

If somehow this season really goes south for Colorado, they can re-tool, but I can't remember a team in Colorado's situation ever blowing up the team and going into rebuild.

New York Islanders led by Mike Milbury doesn't count. That guy was literally insane. Who else climbs into the stands to beat someone with their own shoe?

Damn your hard on your own. I have no idea about his skating as don't watch him enough. But yah if he's looking for bank and Avs feel he will only get slower I can understand reasoning about being hesitant to commit that much to him. We've got Boeser that I love and is great around team but skates like he's in quicksand half the time. I'm not excited about extending him either for long term.
