Anyone know when single game tickets will be on sale to the public? I know they are always quite limited, but I know I'll have a shot if I go on right away when they are on sale. Anyone know the date?

Thanks!

^ What he said. Unfortunately, there's a strong chance all the good seats will be gone during the pre-sale, which I believe requires a password. Not sure how to get said password however. If anyone knows, that would be great, but otherwise you'll have to wait till they go on sale to the general public.

Who is the pre-sale for? Is it just the one with a special password/code to get in, usually sent to the wait list or whatever? I remember having one of those in the past.

Last year's pre-sale passwords were obtained here. I believe someone mentioned it on these boards. Hopefully that person surfaces again :yo:...but ya, not sure if there's a waiting list who gets them first.

I'm not 100% sure this is accurate. My friend picked up home opener tickets for us already. Not sure where he got them, but he has some.

Well there aren't any on Ticketmaster. Your friend may have bought them from a season ticket holder?

EDIT: They are on Ticketmaster but it does say 10:00 am pre-sale and 1:00 pm to public.

Presale passwords usually have something to do with the latest big Leaf acquisition. So if it's LUONGO1 or MACKINNON then we know what direction the season will take us.

anyone have good tips (or website suggestions) for getting tickets for below face? i've done it by buying from a scalper right before the game starts. i don't like craiglist or kijijii b/c i know people who've gotten burned using both.

suggestions?

also...for those who have bought below face from a scalper, how much of a discount have you managed to get?

This is Toronto, good luck getting anything below face value after the lockout until the beginning of the 2nd period.

Premium games cost more, i think purples are $70 plus ticketmaster fees for premium.

Love how they put in "Premium" games at a higher cost, yet don't reduce the price of non-Premium games.

So much for giving back to the fans. Guess I'll head out to Buffalo or Detroit again this year.

.

That doesn't make any sense.

There are two prices, Regular and Premium. Subscribers just pay Regular for all games.

The addition of "Premium" games is new this year, is it not?

No. They had it last year for sure, don't remember beyond that because I never pay it.
I know some other places have had it for years.

I have Purples, there are 3 Prices.
Last year,
Subscriber = $37
Regular = $55
Premium = $70
