I think Vegas and Chicago easily pass. Isles won this trade by a large margin.

Pacioretty is injury plagued and only has one year left on his contract. He’s also not an asset on the powerplay and is nothing special defensively.

It’s noteworthy NY is a likely free agent destination for Pacioretty whose Connecticut born. There’s a good chance the Islanders could arrange an extension.
That's not a good trade for Vegas.
Why not? Dadonov and Brossoit have minimal value if any. Trading Pacioretty would hurt but we clear cap space and get a serviceable player back. We have the supporting cast to help Kubalík thrive that the Hawks don’t. Kubalík with Toews and Saad was utter dominance. It might be the difference between keeping or letting Smith go.

Chicago should be willing to let him go since he needs a change of scenery and his qualifying offer is high. They get a player back that fits their contending window better.

Hawks do not have a contending window anymore

If you think that upgrading your proposal to Bellows and now a 2nd is an overpay......

You kind of are all over the place and I think you are missing some key points.

1. Isles don't need forwards they need defenseman preferably LD.
2. Chicago needs much more coming back as they have no need for Brossoit and Dadanov.
3. Dadanov and Bross have zero value as there are better options available via FA. Vegas is going to pay to shed them and the total cost is probably more than patches and you arent getting kubalik on top of it.
4. Vegas is going to try and compete next year so trading patches is probably not going to be their go to.
5. The only assets Chicago is getting is from the isles who really have no need for more forwards so they probably say no.

Ignoring need and salary cap Patches for bellows and a 3rd or 4th pick probably benefits the isles value wise but again they have no need for Patches. Upgrading that to a 2nd isn't going to happen. I am also not very high on Bellows as some Isles fans might be. I watched a lot of Isles games this year and I felt Trotz didn't play kids as much as he should. Maybe Lane will play them more and his value will increase....maybe.

Either way I think the teams and pieces you are proposing just dont work.

Vegas can’t give up on Pac yet. They mortgaged the future to add Pac-Eichel-Stone and I can guarantee they will be patient and hope all three can play healthy together for a few seasons.

To counter your points:
1) They are looking for a left handed d-man but I’ve also seen rumored they’re looking for more talent to jumpstart Barzal.
2) Kubalik is not worth as much as you think after his rough season and expensive qualifying offer.
3) Wait I thought you said Vegas would easily pass. I’m all over the place?
4) Trading Patches means keeping Smith.

Sadly they have to give up on someone. That would easily be the highest paid line in the league and there’s not a chance they’d have the best results. Pacioretty likes to shoot a lot and Eichel likes to carry the puck a lot. I can guarantee they wouldn’t have good chemistry.

Chicago takes this deal all day long. Solid three-way deal all around

My guess is the hawks will want more coming back. Solid try though op. Bellows is interesting though.
Wait wait wait
The Hawks would want more coming back? For Kubalik? Bellows along would be enough…2023 2nd alone would be enough…Dadonov would be basically a lateral, and again enough alone…and then Broussit as well…

I’d take that trade all day long

It was a 2024 3rd at first. Unfortunately the Islanders don’t have a 2023 3rd which would make the most sense in my opinion.

Kubalik may or may not be qualified. Its up to Davidson

As RFA potentially the Hawks may move his rights in a deal for pick/prospect as well

See no reason for Hawks to be involved in a trade like this involving Kubalik if they do look to move him via trade

1. I would love to know where you read that as the isles have 13 forwards signed for next year and that's not counting Bellows. They also have 7 forwards signed for over 4 mill a year. Trotz system is why Barzals numbers are down. They have plenty of forwards but only 3 dmen signed for nect year.
2. While Kubalik has been trending down he still holds some value unlike Dadanov and Bross.
3. Vegas passes due to where they are as a team. They arent trading a PPG player after trading so much for Eichel. I agree Dadanov and Bross are the guys to go but just dont see a fit for the Isles. You could be onto something with the Hawks but I think it involves prospects or picks going to Chicago for Dad and Bross.
4. Still think they try to keep Smith on a team friendly deal.

That’s a lot of money spent on a 33 yr old forward for the Islanders. Isles pass.
