thoughts on the big ice in the NHL

I guess if your team isn't in the final it's not going to be exciting enough. ;)

But I do have fond memories of Nagano and Turin as well, I don't think the quality was any worse back then. This time the Russian failure together with some pretty weak rosters did a lot to kill the tournament early, while the group stage USA vs. Russia was definitely a classic.

Well let's make the grey area more black and white then; offense. There's no denying the ones on the big ice had less scoring. Conversely most people believe Salt Lake city did have the most exciting hockey itself
 
I would want something in the middle, not going to vote. Not as big as olympic ice but not as small as NHL.
