Thoughts on Some Gloves

I had a pair of TPS gloves that I sold after a month because they broke in and were too big, plus they started falling apart a bit.

I'm using One75's right now because I like a tighter glove with a lot of freedom of movement. There's no wrist impediment at all.

I also really like the Warrior Bully's for the price, good protection and fit.

They're very snug around your hands and have excellent finger movement. The same goes with those Nike Vapors, they're not as bulky or oversized so you feel like you have better grip and control over the puck.

really, not the Eagle's I owned. Traditionally a very loose fitting glove with a cuff for better range of motion. Guys with small or thin hands may not enjoy the fit. Great glove is you like the fit, little pricey though. I paid $170ish US for mine.

Which glove?

I notice alot of people love the Eagles, mind you i have never played a game with them, i dont notice anything special. Whats the big secret?

Eagle PPF are OUTSTANDING gloves. I just bought my first pair last week. the MSH2 palm is the softest thing I've ever felt as far as hockey gear goes. folks who've had them for awhile say the palm is extremely durable and never hardens up like a lot of palms do.
I'm dying to play in mine but my team's on a winning streak right now so I don't want to change anything.

Untill you have used them, i dont think you can say they are "outstanding". Sure the palm maybe nice but that doesnt make the glove.

Give us a review when you get a few games in with them.

Yeah, palms don't make much of a difference to me. As long as I have enough feel to catch a pass and shoot well, I don't care. Fit and protection are much more important to me.

I got the graf gloves for xmas and I love them, right from the store and they already felt broken in, the are nice and light to, love em

I didn't say that I hadn't used them. I said I hadn't played a game in them yet. it's not just the palm that makes these gloves great. these things come broken in to the point where they instantly feel like you've been playing in them for years. most gloves need to be worked-in at least a little. not these. I could play piano in these things!

Let's put it this way: A huge portion of pros use those suckers, including guys like Eric Staal and Malkin. For guys in the NHL who like a looser glove, it's pretty much THE go to glove.

They're too wide for me personally, but a lot of people love them, they're well made, and give you tons of protection.

So yes, that's a good glove.

good enough for me thanks!!

i was going to get rbks but they looked really tight, and i like them a little bit loose

Malkin actually uses XXXX pros, which are an amazing glove. I have a pair of Andy Greene pro returns and they're sick.

About palms, I know there's some bad reviews on the durability but I love the hell out of my "stock" palms on the two pairs of warriors I have. Though my favorite palm ever is the full digital I have on a pair of HGTs

Just wondering why nobody's using the S17 gloves (NHL/pro players)
Pretty much since after the Z-Air series the top level easton gloves haven't been popular at all at the pro level. They almost seem like they have too many features. Most guys seem to like more of a simple glove, even the guys who wear what appear to be 9k reeboks are usually just wearing a glove that's MIA made.
