Did anyone ever hear tell of a interference fine before, I don’t remember one lol. Getting even because he couldn’t find a way to let Edler off the hook. All the boys can chip in $125 each and pay it for him. Good stuff Joe.

It was a penalty. Not sure it should have been a fine. It was no worse than the Galchenyuk hit in terms of severity and if it wasn't super late, it shouldn't even be a penalty.



We've had worse against us and the refs and league did nothing about it.

These two ^ happened just the night before Jumbo, it's a joke he's left unaccountable while Jumbo gets fined; McDavid is turning into a headshot artist, he was already suspended a couple years ago for a similar hit before. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1a32VctkljE He keeps doing this I hope he gets his clock cleaned.

I mean, you can't expect Thornton to get away with it when they came down so hard on Dubois for his similar hit on Kerfoot last series.

Rarely is a disciplinary decision greeted enthusiastically by all sides. So I just say screw everyone. At least Joe is going to play again and get to hit some more Jets.

Id say the league has been noticeably guarded with penalizing teams against the Leafs for this reason and it took a blatant knee that eliminates a key player for several weeks to get the first suspension against us in roughly a decade.

Outside of that, we've been regarded as a "weak" and "passive team" who has been suspended for dirty play significantly more than they've drawn.

Fines are honestly offensive to me as a working class citizen.

For me it would be "you've been fined a nickel for breaking the rules and hitting someone in the head at work"

It really is "wtf" when you think about it.

Now if Kadri was still on the team and this was him...................(just let it go Smoggy)
