Thomas Larkin (no related to Dylan Larkin), is 6'5" and 220lbs, that hit is disgusting. Paille has a history of concussions too I believe, I hope the kid is ok.

I saw this earlier, it didn't end with this either, the white team was taking runs in an attempt to injure for the last couple of minutes of the game which leads me to believe the coach might have been involved, absolutely disgusting. Pallie should press charges against him for assault. That had nothing to do with hockey

First reports says that he was lucky and that he has not shown any concussion symptomps yet.

That's good, I remember Paille's draft year very well, I was actually curious about what kind of career he'd carve out, was a disappointment largely with his offense, but I remember him having some injury issues that might have derailed him a ton as well. Glad to see he was fine from that hit, but I would give it a day or two, symptoms can sometimes be delayed.

Hopefully I am wrong and he's 100% fine going forward.

That is some massive force. He's below the circle and his stick would've ended up close to center ice if the opposing player didn't stop it. I highly doubt he won't incur any symptoms from that hit.

Update:

He's got a concussion appearently.

That was absolutely disgusting. I only got home last night in time to catch the last few minutes but what a pathetic display by the Mannheim players. The elbow to the head was questionable enough to put it mildy but the borderline assault at the end takes the cake.

Sean Simpson.. f***ing drunkard. ;)

His wiki is a treat:

Yeah, to me the movement after Paille got hit was the worst thing here. Think Larkin will def get suspended for this.

Should be banned for the season at least. Disgusting.

Should be banned from the league, really. Historically Cully Wilson got banned from the PCHA after he broke HOFer Mickey MacKay's jaw. It was league president Frank Patrick who threw him out.
