I do think people consume waaaaaay too much meat,

I don't know if it's abolished but it's still crazy to me that they actually taught the food pyramid to me in school when I would assume any administrator would have known it was crafted by corporations and had nothing to do with what was healthy

Lol. Right.

Dairy makes up 1/4 of the major food groups required for health. Literally no scientific evidence to claim that an adult human being needs any amount of dairy, let alone for it to be a significant part of their diet.

There's already a thread about it.

And he's instructing all people to eat less meat.

Arnold is clearly suffering from his age. I would guess Alzheimer's as his decision making is clearly affected

Fairly amusing that this "announcement" would come on the heels of that Chinese dogmeat festival I read about on here before it vanished.

A city in southern China went ahead with an annual dog-meat eating festival Tuesday despite heavy criticism and protests from animal rights activists.

Vendors slaughtered dogs and cooked their meat in dozens of restaurants across the city of Yulin, in an event that has come to symbolize the cruelty and potential for spreading disease associated with the largely unregulated industry.

Where do you draw the line on what animal is good to eat and what isn't? Is it ethical to consume whales, seals, sharks, elephant or jaguars? Is it fine to eat foods like chicken and beef but avoid eating dog? Or does eating one but not the other make you a hypocrite when you criticize people eating such obscure meats?

Do they put mustard on their hot dogs?

The poster stingo wrote a review on the Entertainment board that prompted me to give ovo-vegetarianism a shot.

Here is that review.
Good to see people on HFBoards taking to The China Study.

The plant-based diet movement is alive and well. It doesn't matter if you're doing it for environmental reasons, ethical reasons, or health reasons - it's the way to go for each of those.
