Basically anything you have said or posted here about a player or players and want to show off being right or be modest admit being wrong.

Wrong:
Thought Grabovski was a soft weak point producer like Cody Hodgson.
Brooks Orpik was a #6

Right:
Tyler Bozak would continue to produce top 6 numbers at a great rate
Letang is a greater asset on the ice then Eberle and is a legit #1 defencemen and is not overpaid.

how about you guys?

I have been right all the time that Franzen skates too much upstraight to be effective in his battles, reach, effort and total game. He is one of the most useless players ever.

Wrong: Mike Richards would be the gritty leader who is a solid 50-60 point PK specialist
Bennett would take the Flames by storm and be the leading scorer

Right: Ovechkin would continue to prove everyone wrong and go + while leading the rocket race
Doughty would play amazing and show everyone why he deserves their votes for the Norris

Wrong : Semin and Yakupov bouncing back and scoring 60-70 pts. Horrible mistake.
MacKinnon improving.

Right : Ovi winning the Rocket again. (I'm correct so far)
Sedins bouncing back.

I was wrong about thinking he'd finally rest his wrist, miss the first part of the season, and do better.

I was also wrong about Ribiero so far. I would've been kinda worried about him signing with my team considering his past but so far he's been doing well.

I haven't been right about anything yet...

Can you predict that the Flyers WON'T win the draft lottery.

Right: Said that Subban would one day win a Norris trophy (this was soon after he made the NHL).

Wrong: Didn't give McDonagh his due as a truly elite #1 until these last playoffs. He's legit, he's now a top 7 d-man in my mind.

Right: Maintained (especially recently) that Larsson would turn out well, and it's looking like it now.

Wrong: Expected Semin to turn it around. I still have hopes that he can with another team, but with the Canes... it's not looking good.

I thought Bobby Ryan would've had at least a couple 40 goal seasons by now. I still like the guy, and hope he gets there one day.

Right: Beginning of this year I thought Horny would be just as effective as Neal and that the trade was a good fit for both sides, Comeau and Downie would be good bargain players

Wrong: back when he was first drafted I thought Yak would put up 50 someday.... really not looking likely atm

This season I have taken a lot of credit for certain guys success on the team. Obviously it was all me that got them here, and not any of their talent. :sarcasm:

Right: Called so far this season. Ellis, Wilson, and Jones improving their play including calling Wilson playing like a 1st line player, 2 weeks before his 20 pts in 16 games.

Wrong: I thought Hutton would do fine in Rinne's absence. While he has a 2-1-2 record, he has given up 3 or more goals in each game, not exactly decent playing.

right...
Anahiem would dominate and make it look easy.
Buffalo and Arizona would be basement dwellers.
saw a comeback season coming for the sedins without torts
Chicago would win another Stanley cup.... still need to be proven right.

Wrong...
Thought Edmonton would fight for a playoff spot

Right:
During last season I thought that Tyler Johnson will be a great player for us for a long time and that he'd be challenging Filppula for the #2C this season. Didn't know that he'd be this good though.
Put 20$ on that Cally would fit right in with us when we got him and so far I've been right.
I also though that the Leafs would come crashing down when they were around the top of the East and there was bunch of these "Will the Leafs win the east?" topics here.

Wrong:
Thought that the Leafs would start blowing up the team before February. I still got a day, but I doubt anything will happen.
Thought that Ekblad would have some trouble fitting in to Florida. Oh boy was I wrong.

I successfully predicted that Jason King played bigger than his frame and would be out of the NHL with injuries in under two years.

Just to add, I was right about Callahan as well, said he was going to have a bounce back season. He is on pace for over 60 points this season, and playing some of his best hockey. Sometimes a change of scenery is what a player needs to resurgent themselves.

I was wrong about Tyler Johnson, thinking he was only going to be our 3C, never saw this coming, I knew he had potential but did not see him outplaying Stamkos this year. It's been a pleasant surprise.

When Heatley/Burns trade happened I thought Heatley would be a solid 40+ goalscorer for Minnesota and his arrival would elevate Mikko Koivu being a PPG-player. Clearly, I was wrong.

Right: Devan Dubnyk would turn it around after being driven out of Edmonton.

Right: Dallas Eakins would be fired in 2 years or less AND Todd Nelson would take over the team.

Wrong: Prior to the 2013 draft, predicted Yakupov would be better than MacKinnon. Yikes.

Wrong: Rick Nash would become the new Dany Heatley

Right - I was made fun of for saying that Cory Conacher was producing because of Stamkos and that he was barely an average player when he got traded for Bishop. Everybody at the time said Ottawa had won the trade big time.

Wrong - I initially thought that the Seguin to DAL trade was pretty good for Boston. They proved that they could win without Seguin playing a very big role, and got a solid consistent 70 pts producer that could contribute right now while their window was still open. And at the time I didn't even count Reilly Smith as a factor. But despite this, I think it's fair to say that Boston made a mistake now.

Ah forgot this one. I remember at the time thinking "This is a disaster for Boston". Nice to see I was right purely for of Seguin's success. I wanted him to succeed badly outside of Boston, and I'm happy he is.
