Things to do in Rhodes, Greece

I'm flying over there in roughly 29 hours from now.

Short notice I know, but just wondering if anyone on HF has ever been there. What are some things we (family and relatives) should see or do?

Also, what's the likelyhood of finding a sports bar showing anything from the World Cup? What channel might have the television rights there? If any channel has them at all...

There's a pretty cool castle there from the Knights of St John. That's all I got.

The other Greek isles are close though, so it wouldnt be hard to go to Santorini or Athens or whatever.

good time to go--weather is still nice and it is the tail end of the season--lots to see and explore--the other islands are great as well
