Was just going to post similar. Added bullpen depth and someone who can play infield and outNot sexy or big name adds but addressed some notable names and didn’t give up much of the prospect pool.
Solid B for me.

More ripping of the front office and I love it.
Well even so. This was a horrendous trade deadline for the Jays.
I assume you’re a fan of The Leafs front office? This comment makes sense than and shows you have no clue
or they could appreciate not blowing up the team and keeping the tight knit group togetherOne of my concerns is that the players were expecting a lot more help and this could be deflating to them.
Horrendous is an exaggeration. It was mediocre. They got 2 pen arms, which we all wanted, a starter, which we all wanted, and a utility type, which they got. Or were you expecting them to empty the farm? Because that wasn't going to happen.Well even so. This was a horrendous trade deadline for the Jays.
I think it’s human nature for them to be disappointed. Let’s hope it’s only short term.Hopefully they don't sulk and instead take it as confidence in the group as is. This is what they are going with now -- no more speculation hanging over their heads. So just focus on baseball.
But I would get their frustration in seeing many of the other contenders loading up and the team walking away with depth pieces.
Making significant improvements to the roster today didn’t have to mean blowing up the team.or they could appreciate not blowing up the team and keeping the tight knit group together

Blair's an idiot. There's yer narrative. On top of that, he has, by far, the most annoying voice I've ever heard. Whoever offered him an on-air job in the first place must have been deaf. I mean, I get he has knowledge of the game (although this comment makes me wonder) but I swear every time I hear that nasal drone of his, I wish he'd just shut up and go write something so I don't have to here it anymore. But they added two high quality relievers and another pitcher that could push Kikuchi to the pen where his stuff would play up. I don't get this narrative.
Anyone criticizing the Jays front office is out to lunch. Springer, Berrios, Gausman in the past 2 years. On the plus side at least this Toronto GM doesn't have an unhealthy affliction for collecting guys who played for his junior org back in the Triassic era.
As long as they’re in the afternoon…i can’t remember the last WS or even division championship game I’ve watched. ‘93 for sure, but after that? Oddly enough I’ve watch over 100 live spring training games.Lol, I'd take the Jays going deep over watching meaningless regular season hockey in October.
the improvements a lot of the fanbase wanted yes it would have meant internal movements to the starting 9.Making significant improvements to the roster today didn’t have to mean blowing up the team.
Their bullpen is way better than it was before today. That's the one part of their moves you can't really argue with.I'm disappointed only in that I think this team can get hot and win a world series, and think their bullpen is still not quite good enough, so would have been ecstatic if we could have done something like Bass AND Soto/Jimenez. I think Tigers were asking for a ton for their relievers obviously.
I don’t think we should try to overanalyze it.
They needed a vet bat and went with one of the cheaper options.
I think they needed another good starter and a decent bat.the improvements a lot of the fanbase wanted yes it would have meant internal movements to the starting 9.
come on people are losing there shit about frasso a unranked prospect. sure one with a helluva electric arm and some gawdly stats people weren't going to be happy no matter how this shaped up
