Not sure we have the same definition of high quality. Are they good pitchers? Yes, Certainly better than the worst pitchers the Jays had. Are they solid enough 8th inning pitchers to face the best teams in the league? Personally i don't think so. Maybe i got spoiled by the Expos in 94 but that's still a weak bullpen for a "contending" team imvho.But they added two high quality relievers and another pitcher that could push Kikuchi to the pen where his stuff would play up. I don't get this narrative.
