I am concerned at the fact that his numbers have been steadily declining for the past few seasons, tho.

The Jays have the highest batting average in the league vs RHP. A left handed bat would have been nice, but it's not the biggest need despite having a right handed heavy lineup.

Well, all of the analysts/talking heads around our team are pretty disappointed with our deadline. We seemed to have improved a little - but less than the teams around us.

...and looks like AA has just traded for Iglesias. Sigh - wish he was still our GM.

De Jesus and Frasso actually could be fairly close in value. Sold low on Groshans but besides that and the Frasso/De Jesus swap we gave up a whole lot of nothing and got an really good pen arm with 1.5 years of control, and solid pen arm with 5 years of control, and a good swingman with 5 years of control, and a rental outfielder.

It's definitely not sexy but it's a solid piece of business regardless of how sad I am to see Frasso go.
