I don't fully understand the giants not selling Rodon imo. they are 4.5 games out and the teams in front of them have gotten better

Is he eligible for a qualifying offer if he rejects his option? The White Sox didn't offer him one last season.

So if that's the case, then interested teams must offer more than the expected compensation.

I like the Groshans trade; essentially six years of control for a guy who’s power game has regressed, for six years of bullpen control.
Makes sense to me.
I wonder if there’s still multiple player trades to be made.
Lots of decent youth to be had that *might* be more enticing as the clock ticks z
