Top 10 are Dman who are well above their peers in positive impact and bottom 10 are the biggest liability for their team.Translation?
I mean compared to the other Dman on the Ducks, he definitely was a positive veteran force. The others were either bad or inexperienced rookies.I always knew Gudas was a #1 Dman
Having a negative xGA is a good thing.Looks like Bouchard is busy being a negative influence in 5on5 again.
If this forum is to be believed.

Oml I just realized Dallas has both Dumba and Lyubushkin yikes.

#8 Olli played on the literal most sheltered pairing in the NHL this past season. This seems like it just punishes defenseman who get lots of d-zone deployment and have good goalies. Of course Brandon Carlo has bad expected numbers, he had the 4th highest defensive zone start percentage in the league on a team which depended on their goaltenders to make tons of saves.
It’s a really poor advanced stat and most people don’t use it correctly. This thread being an example of that.Wow what a shit stat
Yeah if that were relevant Bouchard and Ekholm would have struggled in minutes without him but that didn't happenI wonder which Edmonton defensive pairing played with McDavid. Hmm…
