How long before players start jumping ship? If this team goes on a losing streak at the beginning at the season it will be a dumpster fire.

Dahlin has one year left in this madness, then I'd assume he'd want it. He's too damn talented to not be playing in big time games. He wants those big moments.

My feeling is Appert is the heir apparent coach, and I suspect year 2 is the final year for Lindy as HC. So this is a small step in him 'shaping' the roster he wants to coach. . .

It’s clear at this time that we will never try to be competitive during Dahlin or Tage or Tuch’s primes. They’ve decided to punt on that chance again.

Having no choice but to approach things from that perspective…I just hope when they all ask out…they do it publicly

Tuch’s name was in some rumors around the deadline. Tage made some cryptic comments after the season (in my opinion).

The only guy who has been 100% solid so far is Dahlin, and he’s a saint for it. But every competitive person has their limit I would think.

Indeed. Just like the Granato "search" and the Rolston "search". Ruff hire, keeping all the assistants for two straight coaches... just so lazy.

I think it’s stupidity from a GM that thinks he’s smarter than he is. Who thinks if he can just buy himself more time, he’ll figure it out.

It's getting really, really hard for me to not want this team to bottom out next season. I can't root against my team ever again after the tank, but holy crap if that's what it takes to get a nuke dropped on this front office and coaching staff, then maybe that's what is best.

It feels like if they do bottom out again, the owner will just look to get out by selling to outside interests at this point. Seems like the long, slow death of the entire franchise to me.
