Last year's team was propped up by excellent goaltending and an excellent PP. The PP has not been as productive and their 5-on-5 scoring has all but disappeared, while giving up a bundle of high-danger chances that taxes their tenders every night. The holes the PP and Shesty papered over have been exposed.

Apparently Palm Trees (real and inflated) are not allowed at the arena now per bulldog on wgr (who mentioned you will have to smuggle them in). Is Tom Donahoe in charge of the Sabres now (Former Bill's gm that followed Bill Polain who tried to ban signs and banners)?
